Here’s my latest handspun project – this is the Poinsettia Cowl from Knitty, Winter 2008. I love Anne Hanson’s designs, and it’s always a special treat to get one for free!
The fibre was a special treat too – a cashmere/merino/silk blend from Jo at limegreenjelly - I LOVE her colours, and this stuff was a dream to spin, like little fluffy clouds. I still have a tiny bit left but have no idea what to do with it except get it out and stroke it every now & then!

I’ve found it quite hard to take nice pictures of this – but it is the squishiest, softest thing I think I’ve ever felt and I can hardly bear to take it off!
